Outventure is a non-profit adventure club, enjoying a wide range of adventures while challenging each other and growing together.

It sparked off in February 2005, when two mates recognised there are many young guys out there enjoying the adventurous life, who would also have more fun sharing great times as a bigger group of mates.

Currently we have over 60 members in our non-profit adventure club ... guys in the age range 23-37, living in Gauteng, South-Africa & usually 7 to 15 attend per event.

We explore a broad range of activities to cater for different interests and to accommodate the pace of city life, so guys can leave their daily responsibilities, worries, and reservations behind and come live life to the full.

The inaugural Johannesburg International Motor Show takes place against an interesting backdrop: the South African industry is adapting to immense challenges on a retail level, while simultaneously preparing itself for the future under the recently-announced Automotive Production and Development Programme.

JIMS is an event of international standing – one of only two motor shows in the Southern hemisphere accredited with the International Organisation of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA) – and attracts foreign media, industry executives from vehicle and component manufacturers as well as guest speakers for events like the Car Conference. About 1 500 overseas guests are expected.

There will be various conferences, match-making and one-on-one meetings / events taking place on site of which dates are still to be confirmed. For example, various industry and association conferences hosted by:

- NAACAM AGM and Networking Cocktail Dinner
- RMI / SASOL Centenary event

Also there will be daily activities planned such as:

- Demonstrations at the 4x4 track
- Advance Driving
- Outdoor Trucking
- Car Displays and Demonstrations
- Various Tv/Radio broadcasts, etc.
