In summary, The Outventure Man is similar to the Camel man / Bar One man / Men's Health man / most eligable batchelor / etc. ... a guy who fits the perfect Outventure profile and has some spare time to represent Outventure during and outside events.

Someone who is adventurous, fits the Outventure characteristics, is easy to get along with, approachable, charismatic, has a sense of humour and is open-minded, yet stands by his decisions and has the "F-you" attitude when necessary. He has good looks that speak of masculinity, adventure and reflects a naughty & daring side.

In terms of fitness, he has a good body, is fit and well built. Furthermore he enjoys the limelight, has a good sense and ability for PR, marketing and taking Outventure out there in an attractive, credible & consistent manner.

Once selected, he is expected to be the face of Outventure and engage in projects part time to secure and maintain a network of sponsors and useful contacts as well as building the member base, all which, he will be rewarded for accordingly.

A. Selection criteria
- Character, personality & attitude (adventurous, innovative, flexible, impulsive, challenging, daring, respectful, can stick to proper protocol, easy to get along with, approachable, charismatic, sense of humour, open-minded, yet firm and have the "F-you" look when necessary)
- Looks (good looks, masculine, naughty face, adventurous and challenging)
- Fitness (good body, fit & well built)
- Soft-skills (must have a bit of spare time as well as a good sense and ability for PR, marketing and bringing across the Outventure concept in an attractive, credible & consistent manner)

B. Competing process
The Outventure Man is selected periodically by vote from our members. Various assessments, tasks and dares will be given to each contestant during this period. A panel is then appointed, each panellist representing a specific criteria, who interacts with club members to identify, clarify & score each candidate on the various characteristics. A candidate can run for multiple terms, but can also be voted out during his term, based on his performance.

C. Duties
The Outventure Man is expected to be the face of Outventure and attend as many events as possible (minimum one per month). Outside event times, he will represent Outventure for interviews, write-ups and other public-eye events, where he is expected to "sell" the Outventure concept in an attractive, credible and consistent manner, always making sure that he brings across a consistent and core message that will encourage the right candidates to join. Furthermore, he will be expected to build and maintain a network of sponsors and other useful contacts, where he will secure sponsorships for events and negotiate rewarding deals for Outventure.

D. Reward
Upon being selected as the winner, the guy will have the respect & title of THE OUTVENTURE MAN and will be presented with insignia and prize(s) during the ceremony. In order to attend as many events as possible, he is given an incentive and large discount on events, but also penalties when not attended the minimum required. The ongoing reward is however on a performance basis, where The Outventure Man gets a percentage of every sponsorship he secures and commission on every member that joins during his term.
