Outventure is an adventure group, enjoying a wide range of adventures while challenging and building one another up.

It sparked off in February 2005, when two mates recognised there are more young guys out there enjoying the adventurous life, who would also have better fun sharing great times with a bigger group.

Currently we have over 80 members in our non-profit adventure club ... guys in the age range 23-37, living in Gauteng, South-Africa.

We explore a broad range of activities to cater for different interests and to accommodate the pace of city life, so guys can leave their daily responsibilities, worries, and reservations behind and come live life to the full.

OppiKoppi 2010

From www.oppikoppi.co.za:

OppiKoppi almost tripped over itself in the small bar in the middle of the South African bushveld where it started as an unassuming, but hedonistic rock and roll getogether. From there, the company has expanded to initially host its own festival by the same name, and thereafter spilled out over into the live music network of Southern Africa.

These days OppiKoppi is run as a fully-fledged events company, with a very active booking and touring agency, sponsorship management divisions and a recently initiated Below-the-Line advertising agency: all more-or-less focussing on the live music scene.

Around Easter, Northam's Oppikoppi Farm welcomes the OppiKoppi "Strictly Come Twakkie" Not-Quite-Easter-Festival, the offspring event of the original Oppikoppi Bushveld Festival. The remit is simple - no cover bands and no pop bands; this is a festival of rock music.

Oppikoppi has something in common with England's very own hippy-fest Glastonbury, but with better weather and added comfort. A host of DJs spin their finest tunes in between live music acts to keep festival-goers dancing. Facilities on offer include free camping, showers and toilets.

Keep an eye on the Oppikoppi website for all the breaking news and for other Oppikoppi events. Tickets can be booked online at www.tunegum.com or purchased at the gate.
